WELCOME MESSAGE FROM THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Welcome to MHC Healthcare Family Medicine Residency Program located in Tucson, Arizona! We are a 4-4-4, 3 year ACGME accredited program that strives to create a supportive learning environment and incorporate resident wellbeing to be part of the life-long learning experience.
The mission is to train highly competent Family Medicine Primary Care Physicians to provide compassionate, evidence-based, innovative and cost-effective health care to diverse and medically underserved populations. Consistent with the institution’s mission, residents will gain experience in providing whole person care in a team-based approach that is compassionate and patient-centered.
Residents will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to a panel of patients in MHC’s Ina Clinic, the Family Medicine Practice site. As an integrated clinic, Residents will work in collaboration with other specialties to assist their patients including Behavioral Health, Dental, Pharmacy, Radiology and Lab services.
Our faculty is devoted to providing individualized training and support to meet the specific learning needs of each resident. The learning environment allows residents to further enhance their unique abilities and develop meaningful relationships with patients and faculty.
